CoolBreeze evaporative coolers use SP part numbers (for example SP2134), which makes ordering easy once you know the number. This guide covers the CoolBreeze parts that most often need replacing.
Safety first: coolers are usually on the roof and run on 240V. Use a safe ladder and roof access, and never work on the cooler with the power on. Any hard-wired electrical work must be done by a licensed electrician or cooler technician.
Find your model first
Check the label on the cooler for the model and series. Our parts by model pages cover the CoolBreeze top discharge, side discharge, twin fan, Cascade and Heritage ranges. See also how to find your cooler model and part numbers.
Solenoid valves
The SP2134 solenoid valve kit is a common replacement for the inlet solenoid. Check the voltage and fittings match your old valve. See CoolBreeze solenoid valves.
Float switches
Many CoolBreeze units use a magnetic float switch rather than a mechanical float valve: the SP2210 or SP2212, with the SP2200 float available on its own. Older units may use a mechanical valve such as the Fluidmaster 747.
Drain valves
Many CoolBreeze units made between 2001 and 2012 use the SP2040 counterweight drain valve kit. It has replaced the discontinued SP2064. See dump valves vs drain valves.
Fan motors, capacitors and collets
CoolBreeze motors come in 600W, 750W and 1000W sizes, supplied with a capacitor. If the fan hums but won’t start, the capacitor alone may be the fix: the SP3039 25uF suits 600W motors and the SP3040 30uF suits 750W and 1000W motors. The fan collet must match the fan blade: the SP6043 for 10-blade fans (600W and 750W) and the SP6073 for 9-blade fans (1000W). See CoolBreeze motors and capacitors and capacitor or motor?.
Wall controllers and control boards
CoolBreeze controllers are matched to the cooler’s control board, for example the QA wall controller (SP3221), QM 10-speed manual controller (SP3220) and EM controller for EzyCool (SP3201), with the SP3000 MRU control board for QA and QM series. See CoolBreeze controls and PCBs.
Pumps
Some CoolBreeze coolers use the Fasco JRM28 pump. See CoolBreeze pumps and pump sizes explained.
