Warranty & Returns
At ValvesDirect, we sell products that are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty varying from 1 to 2 years.
We offer our customers a 14-day free return policy. If you have purchased a product recently and it is not as per defined specifications, we will replace or refund the product at our own cost.
If you have purchased an item by mistake or are not happy with your item, the first step is to contact us and make us aware of your issue. Depending on the issue, we might ask you to send back the item at your own cost. Upon receiving the item and accessing whether it is unused and is in the same packaging as delivered without any sign of wear and tear, we may offer you a replacement or refund, provided the abovementioned conditions are met. Please expect 1 to 2 weeks for your refund to get processed. You will receive a notification from us once your refund is processed. We don’t charge a restocking fee from our customers.
Recent policy changes by Stripe and PayPal has forced us to deduct the processing fee charged by these payment processing companies. We will deduct 3% from the final refund amount for any change of mind returns or products ordered by mistake.
The final refund amount will be as per this formula
Final Refund Amount = Product Cost – Shipping Charges – Payment processing charged by PayPal or Stripe( 3%)
The above formula will not be applicable if the customer has used any other payment method while paying for the product.
We might not be able to approve all returns due to the nature of the expensive electronic parts Involved. These parts are tested and carefully packed by the manufacturer and the warranty is void if the customer undergoes an installation and later find out that the part is not suitable. We have no means to check if the part is fault-free and can be sold again as these are electronic and electrical parts that may be rendered useless just by improper handling or during fitment.
In case there is some manufacturing defect in the product and it is still covered under the manufacturer warranty, we may ask you to return the product for accessing the issue. Upon doing so, we might send you a replacement if we are able to corroborate the issue in the product as described by you. However, in this case, the freight charged will be covered by you.
We will also not entertain any request for reimbursement of technician visits that may arise due to part issue. We will also require you to provide the Installation receipt by the technician proving that the Installation was carried out by a licensed tradesperson. In order to claim the warranty from the manufacturer, we also have to show them evidence that there was indeed an issue with the product and replacement of part was being carried by a licensed tradesperson.
