Common Brivis Evaporative Cooler Parts (With Part Numbers)

Genuine Brivis Askoll M115 Pump Motor Only #B064595SP – evaporative cooler part

Brivis evaporative coolers have been sold across Australia for decades, and the ranges have changed a lot over that time. This guide covers the Brivis parts that most often need replacing, with the part numbers to look for.

Safety first: coolers are usually on the roof and run on 240V. Use a safe ladder and roof access, and never work on the cooler with the power on. Any hard-wired electrical work must be done by a licensed electrician or cooler technician.

Find your model first

Brivis model codes such as L36, P43 or AD52 tell you which pads, motor and control parts fit. Check the label on the cooler and see how to find your cooler model and part numbers. Brivis part numbers come in two styles: numbers starting with B0 and 8-digit numbers starting with 810. Our listings show the part number for each item.

Pumps

Many Brivis coolers use the Askoll M115 pump (B017245). A motor-only replacement and pump base are also available. Some models use the Fasco JRM38 or JRM50. See Brivis pumps and pump sizes explained.

Solenoid valves

Brivis coolers use either a 24VAC or a 240V inlet solenoid, depending on the model and control box. Common ones are the 1/2″ 24VAC solenoid with bleed (B016314) and the 3/4″ 240V solenoid (B017072). The voltage must match. See Brivis solenoid valves.

Float valves

Many Brivis units use a Philmac float valve under part number B000414, available with a straight or cranked arm, and as a full assembly with float. See how to replace a float valve and Brivis float valves.

Fan motors and capacitors

Brivis fan motors are sized by series and wattage, for example the S3 750W or S4+ 950W. Match both the series and the wattage. A 25uF motor capacitor is a common fix when the fan hums but won’t start. See Brivis motors and capacitors and capacitor or motor?.

Filter pads

Brivis pads come in packs of 4, sized for the model, for example L31, L36, P43 and P46 or AD41 and AD51. Order by your model code. See cooler filter pads and when to replace pads.

Control boxes, controllers and sensors

Common parts include the NE-6 control box, the Networker NC-6 wall controller, fan speed sensors and water level sensors. Brivis Contour units also use a snorkel and damper motor assembly. See Brivis control boxes and snorkels and damper motors.
