Evaporative Cooler Pumps
Replacement water pumps for Breezair, Braemar, Coolair, Bonaire, Celair, Brivis and CoolBreeze evaporative coolers, including Fasco JRM28, JRM38 and JRM50 pumps and genuine manufacturer pumps.
The pump lifts water from the tray to the pads. If your cooler blows warm air, the pads look dry or you can hear the pump humming but not running, the pump is the first part to check.
Common questions
How do I choose the right pump?
Match the part number or model on the label of your old pump, or look up your cooler under parts by model. Pumps are sized to the cooler, so a smaller pump may not wet the pads fully.
Can I fit a different brand of pump?
Only if the flow rate, voltage, mounting and outlet match. Universal pumps such as the JRM range fit many coolers, but check the product’s fitment list first.
Why did my pump fail?
The usual causes are scale and debris in the tray, running dry because of a stuck float valve, and age. Cleaning the tray and filter basket each season helps a new pump last.
How to choose a replacement cooler pump
Match the pump to the one that came out of your cooler. The number on the label (JRM28, JRM38, JRM50 or a brand part number such as 6050812SP or 095806) tells you the flow rate and fitting. A smaller pump won’t wet the pads properly, so never downsize.
| Pump | Flow | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| JRM28 | ~28 L/min | Smaller cabinets |
| JRM38 | ~38 L/min | Medium cabinets |
| JRM50 | ~50 L/min | Large cabinets |
Breezair Tornado pumps, Brivis pump assemblies and Bonaire Durango pumps are brand-specific. Also check the bracket, outlet and power connection. Read the full pump sizing guide and the step-by-step replacement guide.
