Evaporative Cooler Controllers & Control Boxes

Wall controllers, control boxes, PCBs and controller looms for Breezair, Braemar, Coolair, Bonaire, Brivis and CoolBreeze evaporative coolers, including MagIQtouch and Navigator controllers.

A blank controller, a communication or fault code, or a cooler that won’t respond to the controller can come from the wall controller, the loom (cable) or the control box on the roof.

Common questions

Is it the controller, the loom or the control box?

If the controller screen is blank, check power to the cooler and the loom first. Damaged looms are a common, low-cost fix. Fault codes often point to the control box or a sensor. Your manual’s fault code list will help narrow it down.

Will a new controller work with my control box?

Controllers and control boxes must be compatible. Each product page lists the part numbers and systems it suits. Send us the label details if you are unsure.

Controller, loom or control box?

A blank wall controller, a communication fault or a cooler that ignores the controller can come from three places: the wall controller, the loom (cable) between them, or the control box or PCB in the cooler.

  • Check the power to the cooler and the loom plugs first. Damaged looms are a common, low-cost fix.
  • Fault codes on the controller usually point to the control box or a sensor. Check the code in your manual.
  • Controllers and control boxes must be compatible. Each product lists the systems it suits (for example MagIQtouch, CPMD, Navigator, NC-6 Networker).
